Deep Ellum Arts Festival
This exuberant festival lights up the streets of Dallas ' eclectic Deep Ellum neighborhood with live music, poetry slams, dance performances, visual arts and a legendary pet parade. Hundreds of original bands and performing artists pour onto five outdoor stages as three free days of blazing street fair fun unfurl across six blocks in the entertainment district.

Dallas Auto Show
Loaded with everything on wheels from Corvettes to Aston Martins, this gleaming exhibition brings the latest in four-wheeled fantasies to the Dallas Convention Center over five days in March, attracting nearly 430,000 visitors. Compare the styling and pricing of every major automobile line all underneath one enormous roof.

Chisholm Trail Roundup
Return to Dallas' old west roots at this wild and wooly barbecue and music festival celebrating historic Fort Worth, last stop on the Chisholm Trail. The first two weekends in June bring chili cook-offs, barbecue championships, parades, live music, auctions, horseshoe tournaments, carnival rides and so much more to this self-described "City of Cowboys and Culture".

Savor Dallas
Step out in the city's fashionable Arts District in early March and experience a lavish feast for the senses. Savor Dallas features a delightful wine stroll, cooking demonstrations by some of the city's finest celebrity chefs, live music, tasting seminars, and a spectacular silent auction.

Southwestern Exhibition and Livestock Show
This amazing annual rodeo exhibit dates back to 1896 and features thrilling cowboy competitions, auctions, live music, and commercial exhibits. Held in January, the show draws thousands to the Will Rogers Memorial Center for world-class livestock shows, professional rodeo performances, and carnival entertainment. Do the two-step at the Rodeo Roadhouse, check out the history of cowgirls and cattle-raisers at the Moo-seum, and cheer with over 100,000 spectators at the All West Parade.

Taste of Dallas
The city's largest outdoor food festival brings multiple musical venues, restaurants and retail booths to Fair Park in July. Sample dishes from some of the city's most acclaimed chefs, steal a few secrets at cooking demonstrations, learn how to whip up creative cocktails, shop at the crafty Culinary Marketplace and check out live music and visual arts.

Dallas Dance Festival
The annual Dallas Dance Festival, held at the magnificent Sheraton Grand Hotel, showcases performances from both well-established dance companies and emerging talent. This November weekend includes workshops and competitive programs for couples, swing and line dancing, as well as a fantastic dance and variety show extravaganza.
